Burns started her career in television in 1995, playing the lead character Peg from the Spanish-American teen comedy Out of the Blue (1995-1996). Burns became a participant in Baywatch the action-drama show in 1998. Following that, she was a part of Baywatch: Hawaii. Burns was then forced to leave Baywatch due to her first child.
